Information collected automatically. When you visit our website, we and our service providers may collect device and usage information such as pages viewed, links clicked, approximate location (city level), browser and device type, and the website that referred you. This is collected through cookies and similar technologies, including Google Analytics. Our booking form may also save a copy of your most recent booking in your own browser so the confirmation page can display it; that copy stays on your device.

How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed to run our business and complete your job:
- Service providers that work on our behalf, including website hosting (Netlify), database and file storage (Supabase, Neon), payments (Square), email delivery (Resend), form delivery (Web3Forms), record keeping (Google Workspace), website analytics (Google Analytics), and call and chat answering (Rosie). These providers may use the information only to provide their services to us.
- Courts and parties to the case. Proofs of service and related declarations are filed with the court and served on parties as the law requires. Filed documents may become part of the public court record.
- Registered process servers working on our behalf, when needed to complete your job.
- Legal requirements. When required by law, subpoena, or court order, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.

We do not share personal information with third parties for their own direct marketing purposes.
Information About People Being Served
Our work involves information about people who are not our clients, such as the person being served. We receive this information from our clients and, where a skip trace is ordered, from lawfully available sources and third-party databases. We use it only to complete the requested service and the required records. Proofs of service filed with a court may become public record.
Cookies, Analytics & Do Not Track
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our website. Google Analytics uses cookies and collects information such as pages visited and general device and location information. You can learn how Google uses this information at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites, and you can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
Some browsers send a “Do Not Track” signal. There is no common standard for these signals, and our website does not currently respond to them.
How Long We Keep Information
We keep job records, documents, proofs of service, and payment records for as long as needed to complete the work, meet legal, tax, and recordkeeping requirements that apply to registered process servers in California, and resolve disputes. Website analytics data is kept according to our Google Analytics settings.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect the information we hold, including encrypted connections and access-restricted systems. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

You may ask to review, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing legal@goldenhilllegalrunner.com. We will respond within a reasonable time. We may need to verify your identity, and we may keep information we are required to retain by law or that is part of a court proceeding.
You may opt out of non-essential emails at any time. We will still send messages about jobs you have booked.

Our website and services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information through our website from children under 13.
