Appointment Times & Arrival Windows
All quoted arrival times, service windows, and completion estimates are approximations only and are not guaranteed. Actual service times may be affected by traffic conditions, prior client obligations, court filing queues, document preparation delays, or other circumstances outside the control of Golden Hill Legal Runner LLC. Golden Hill Legal Runner LLC shall not be liable for delays, missed deadlines, or consequential damages arising from estimated time windows. Clients are strongly encouraged to submit time-sensitive documents with adequate lead time. Rush or same-day service availability is not guaranteed.
Payment, Cancellation & Refund Policy
All services require payment in full prior to scheduling. All fees are non-refundable once an appointment has been scheduled, regardless of whether service has been attempted. By submitting payment, client acknowledges that Golden Hill Legal Runner LLC has reserved time, allocated resources, and declined other work on their behalf. Cancellations, no-contacts, or client-side delays do not entitle the client to a refund of any kind. Any rescheduling of a scheduled appointment, for any reason, is subject to a $50.00 rescheduling fee payable in full prior to the new appointment being scheduled.
Scope of Services & No Legal Advice
Golden Hill Legal Runner LLC is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice of any kind. Services are strictly limited to process serving and legal support functions, including the filing of documents prepared by the client or the client's attorney. Golden Hill Legal Runner LLC does not prepare, select, review, or complete legal documents. No attorney-client relationship is created by engaging the services of Golden Hill Legal Runner LLC. Clients are encouraged to consult a licensed California attorney for any questions regarding their legal matter.
No Guarantee of Completion
Golden Hill Legal Runner LLC does not guarantee that service of process will be completed, or that any document will be accepted or filed by the court, for any reason. This includes, without limitation: incomplete or inaccurate information supplied by the client; a subject who cannot be located, is unavailable, or avoids service; rejection, closure, backlog, or scheduling by the court; and any other circumstance outside the control of Golden Hill Legal Runner LLC.
A service fee is charged per attempt regardless of whether service is completed, and filing fees are earned whether or not the court accepts the filing. All fees pay for the work performed and are not contingent on the outcome. Golden Hill Legal Runner LLC is not liable for failed service attempts, rejected filings, missed deadlines, or consequential damages of any kind.
Court Filing Fees & Document Handling
Court filing fees are set and collected by the court and are separate from the fees charged by Golden Hill Legal Runner LLC. Filing quotes are provided per job and cover the runner service only. Where the client elects an in-person document drop-off or pickup, a flat fee applies within eighteen (18) miles; distances beyond that radius are billed per mile for the round trip and are quoted to the client in advance. The client is responsible for providing a complete, correct, and court-ready document packet.

The client assumes full responsibility for verifying the accuracy of subject information prior to requesting service.
